Teddy Bears Picnic

This is a project we just had which was called Dream't we had to think of somthing that related to the word Dream't and create a photo shoot out of it. I worked in a group and we thought of Teddy Bears Picnic as are theme. We went down to my house as i have a wood behind my house and used the tables and chairs i have and pinic baskets and cutlery and teapot and cups. We then shot the pictures but placed bears masks on the model to make the teddy bears picnic become real,we also had to involve surrealism so we felt that the theme went well we have humans with bears masks on. When coming to PhotoShoping,We darkened the images and changed the tone and colours of the them to put more of a surralism effect across.

Revealing

My latest project was on to choose a word which was listed on a board in are class room, i choose revealing. When looking into the dictionary quotes it was mostly about revealing parts of the body or someone revealing a secret. This then drew me to reveal the gossip magazine, it also drew me to Highland Rape a collection created by the late Alexander McQueen and the story behind the collection which was to do with his sister who had once had an occurrence with sexual abuse. i then went into thinking about Alexander McQueen and his death and how from watching the programme McQueen and i, it seemed to be he had to much pressure put upon him self by the critics and paparazzi it then made me think in to all the celebrities that have gone mad. This mad me think is it the paparazzi that are putting so much pressure on them that they can not take anymore? so i created my shoot i created a storyline where it starts off with a celebrities couple been bombarded by paparazzi, to then find out that the wife is having an affair to then be questioned to then go on to becoming a couple them selves, then to see the woman leave her ex to him turning to killing him self. strange storyline but if you ever think into the world of celebrities you see stories like this pop up all the time.
When coming to photoshoping i tired to different ways of displaying my pictures one type old looking grain put onto the images, second a new kind of brighter look. I am still undecided on which technic i am going to use as i am putting these images into a book so it is like a story book but with just images.

Haute Couture

Today we did an exhibition on are Couture projects we presented the outfits we made next to a chosen image from are shoots that we produced are selves. We put the pictures that we choose into an A3 sized frame. The exhibition went good, we had a fair few people turn up then what we imaged would, all the work had good remarks said. Overall it went well and i felt an achievement by viewing my work upon a wall.

My Haute Couture shoot, i made my outfit from charity cloths and material from a fabric shop,then did the shoot at a place called St. Georges Hall in Liverpool, more pictures to come soon.
